Well today in the occasion of Mahashivratri, I'm going to write a poem dedicated to Ardhnarishwar as this is the day Shiva and Parvati became one. I will also provide you the meanings of the poem.
You are the proud parents of the obstacle remover Ganesha.
You are the valiant parents of the trouble destroyer Hanuman.
You are the loving parents of brave Murugan & Ayyappa.
You are the beautiful parents of the happiness provider Bala.
You are the loving parents of brave Murugan & Ayyappa.
You are the beautiful parents of the happiness provider Bala.
You are the eternal parents of the universe.
Salutations to Ardhnarishwar - the Supreme.
Here Shiva and Parvati are described as the parents of Ganesha, who removes obstacles, Hanuman who destroys troubles, Murugan (Kartikeya) and Ayyappan who are brave and Bala, who makes us happy. (Now if you check in Hanuman Chalisa and Bajrang Ban, Hanuman is called Shankar Suvan. In Shiv Chalisa, Ganesh is called Girija Suvan, and in Ganesh Stuti, Ganesh is called Shankar Suvan. This clearly indicates that Hanuman is their son. Further Bala is the one who incarnates as Ashoksundari, Manasa and Jyoti.) Ardhnarishwar are also described as the eternal parents as the universe is their responsibility. We bow to Ardhnarishwar, the Supreme.
In Kailash, you are Shiva-Parvati.
In Vaikunth, you are Vishnu-Lakshmi.
In Satyalok, you are Brahma-Saraswati.
In Ayodhya, you are Sita-Ram.
In Dwarka and Vrindavan, you are Madhvi-Shyam.
Salutations to Ardhnarishwar - the Supreme.
For the generator within him, she comes as knowledge.
For the operator within him, she comes as wealth.
For the destroyer within him, she comes as power.
For the concealer within him, she comes as grace.
For the revealer within him, she comes as love.
Salutations to Ardhnarishwar - the Supreme.
You are the most powerful.
You are the most beautiful.
You are the most intelligent.
You are the most compassionate.
You are the most adorable.
Salutations to Ardhnarishwar - the Supreme.
We all know Shiva and Parvati reside in Kailash. But at the same time they also reside in Vaikunth as Vishnu-Lakshmi and in Satyalok as Brahma-Saraswati as these couples are their manifestations. They further come as Ram-Sita in Ayodhya and Shyam-Madhvi (Shyam is Krishna while Madhvi is Radha, Rukmini, Satyabhama, etc.) in Dwarka and Vrindavan. We bow to Ardhnarishwar, the Supreme.
Shiva needs to generate so Parvati comes as knowledge. (Here they are Brahma-Saraswati.) Shiva needs to operate so Parvati comes as wealth. (Here they are Vishnu-Lakshmi.) Shiva needs to destroy, so Parvati comes as power that is destructive. Parvati is grace when Shiva is the concealer. Parvati is love when Shiva is the revealer. We bow to Ardhnarishwar, the Supreme.
You are the most powerful.
You are the most beautiful.
You are the most intelligent.
You are the most compassionate.
You are the most adorable.
Salutations to Ardhnarishwar - the Supreme.
Shiva and Parvati are the most powerful, beautiful, intelligent, compassionate and adorable. These are qualities required to be the Supreme being. We bow to Ardhnarishwar, the Supreme.
I hope you enjoyed this. Keep loving Shiva and Shakti. For further understanding, read this.
